Campuses

The campus section of the Red Thread Movement connects with college and high school students and encourages them to create original ways to sell the Red Thread bracelets on their campuses and to spread the word about human trafficking to their peers. Students are invited to create clubs or host events for the issue. Ideas and suggestions for fundraisers can be found below.

The campus section was initiated to encourage students and faculty into action. The Movement started with college students, and we greatly believe in the potential that this expansive group has to connect with each other and to reach the world. Students have such an immense variety of gifts and talents to offer.

So, we ask students everywhere to join us in calling others to action.

How to Get Involved:

1.      Fill out an order form.

2.      E-mail the completed form to:
Brittany@RedThreadMovement.org for Colleges and
Liz@RedThreadMovement.org for High Schools
3.      Sell the bracelets for $3 through a club or at an event.
(See our event/project ideas below)
4.      Ship unsold bracelets and proceeds back to us.
(We cover shipping.)

Churches

Red Thread works with a network of youth groups across the country to raise support and awareness for the issue of human trafficking.

Youth have the incredible desire and ability to change the world around them. There are many passionate youth who want to be human rights activists but do not know where to start. Through the Red Thread Movement, youth who are willing to take the initiative can become anti-trafficking activists in their own community.

Youth groups can sell Red Thread bracelets by reaching out to their immediate church family or organizing events. We invite your church to be creative and brainstorm ways in which you can raise awareness and promote the Movement at your church, school, district or town.

Other

The Red Thread Movement partners with a variety of companies, organizations, groups and individuals.

Partnerships may involve carrying Red Thread merchandise in your store, hosting a joint benefit concert in your venue or having a human trafficking awareness month at your coffee shop.
